The Enrollment office works with individuals who are currently enrolled and those that are eligible for enrollment with the Pueblo. They maintain the current Pueblo Census records, issues Tribal Identification cards, Name Change/Change of Address, Relinquishment, and Certificate of Indian Blood. The Pueblo de San Ildefonso is accepting applications for enrollment all year long.
New Enrollment
- To enroll you must meet the requirements below and turn in the following documentation:
- 1/4 Indian Blood Quantum. We do not accept test results or documentation from 23 and me, Ancestry.com, etc.
- At least one parent must be enrolled in San Ildefonso Pueblo with a Tribal Census Number.
- Required documentation includes: Enrollment Packet, Birth Certificate, Copy of Parents Certificate of Indian Blood, and a Copy of the Statement of Paternity.
- Allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
Tribal Identification Cards
- Please schedule an appointment. Contact Tribal Enrollment Clerk for availability.
- Fees:
- If you are 17 and younger, ID’s are free. Parent or Legal Guardian MUST be present for ID process.
- If you are needing a new ID or replacing an expired ID, there is a $10 fee.
- If you are replacing a lost ID that has not expired, there is a $15 fee.
